MGC is recognized by the American Bar Association for their green initiatives. Therefore, their new space needed to have furniture to support their practices. F3 Concepts was awarded their breakroom, community room, as well as the workstations. Utilizing our philosophy of fit, flexibility, and functionality we came up with furniture that worked for each space that had a sustainable story. For example, we used Evolve Furniture’s product for the workstations that are comprised of 82% post consumer and industrial wastes. The fabric used was a recycled material as well. In the breakroom, we incorporated a refurbished wood top from a salvaged elm tree to create a large table.
We worked closely with the contractor and the architectural firm to ensure the furniture fit within the space. For example, we placed all the core drill locations for the data and power outlets to allow the workstation layouts to function properly.
One unique part of this project was the Community Room. This room needed to be flexible for multi-use. It is used for breakroom seating, small seminars, and training. The flexibility of the tables and chairs we put in the space met all these requirements. MGC, their staff, and ourselves included were very pleased with the outcome! This was an exciting project to be a part of!
Our firm selected F3 from a field of vendors based on their unique partnership that combines extensive knowledge of commercial furniture options along with design and finish selction experience. This combination along with their access to and knowledge of many manufacturers made our recent project at the Meridian building in Columbia, SC a huge success. Mike and April are able to offer a very high level of professional service and act as consultant partners in making recommendations. Our expectations regarding service and quality were exceeded and I would highly recommend F3 to anyone looking for a commercial furniture vending partner.
